Right Wing Losers

They said it. It didn’t happen.

A public ledger of right-wing public figures: predictions that failed, votes against their own words and false claims, each set against what actually happened. Every entry carries two sources: one for what they said and one for the record.

The ledger

178 receipts on file

    Said vs. voted

    134 votes on file

Republican members of Congress, 2016 onward, whose recorded vote went against what they said in public. Each receipt pairs their own words with the official roll call.

This is a record of documented cases, not a count of every one. No public database matches statements to votes, so each entry here was found, sourced and checked by hand: the words against a primary source or two outlets quoting them identically, the vote against the House Clerk or Senate roll call. 102 members on file so far.

      Claim vs. the record

      413 claims on file

False statements of fact from right-wing public figures, each set against the record that disproves it: sworn testimony, court rulings, certified results and the government's own data.

This is a record of documented cases, not a count of every one. Each quote was checked word for word against a transcript, the original post or the official record, and each refutation is a primary source, never a fact-check alone. Opinions, insults, hedged remarks and claims that are partly true are left out. 30 people on file so far.
