What did Dick Morris claim about elections on 14 Dec 2020?
Dick Morris, Political commentator and frequent Newsmax guest ·
Bear in mind, Dominion was invented by people working for Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan dictator after he, quote, "lost" an election. And he then decided to, quote, "win" the election by fixing the voting machines.
Newsmax's own CEO testified that Dominion was not invented by people working for Hugo Chavez or founded in Venezuela, and a court found the statement false.
In Dominion's suit against Newsmax, the court quoted testimony by Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy, as Newsmax's corporate representative, that it was 'inaccurate' to say Dominion was invented by people working for Hugo Chavez and that Dominion 'was not founded in Venezuela and not founded by people that were in line with Chavez.' The court found that no genuine issue of material fact exists as to falsity for any challenged Newsmax statement, this one included (Delaware Superior Court, US Dominion v. Newsmax Media, Apr. 9, 2025).
