What did Donald Trump claim about elections on 28 Oct 2015?
Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate ·
I am the only person in either campaign that's self-funding. I'm putting up 100 percent of my own money.
Not 100 percent. Through September 2015 his campaign had taken $3,910,228 from individual donors, and Trump's own loans and contributions were only about a third of the money.
Thirteen days earlier his campaign told the FEC that, through Sept. 30, 2015, it had taken $3,910,228 in contributions from individuals, against $1,804,747 in loans and $104,829 in contributions from Trump himself. That puts Trump's share at about a third of the money (Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., FEC Form 3P October Quarterly report, filed Oct. 15, 2015).
