What did Donald Trump claim about elections on 26 May 2020? "The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions…"
Donald Trump, President of the United States ·
The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions of people, anyone..... ....living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one.
The order covered registered voters only. Newsom's Executive Order N-64-20 sent a vote-by-mail ballot to every registered voter, not to anyone living in the state.
California's Secretary of State announced on May 8, 2020 that under Executive Order N-64-20 'every registered voter will receive a vote-by-mail ballot' and 'every registered voter living domestically will be mailed a ballot 29 days prior to Election Day' (California Secretary of State, release AP20:045).
