What did Donald Trump claim about the economy on 17 Sep 2026?
Donald Trump, President of the United States ·
I was proud to be the President that got our last Farm Bill done, in December of 2018, after the previous President, Barack Hussein Obama, was unable to get it passed (Or didn’t want to!)
Obama did get one passed. The 2014 farm bill became law on Feb. 7, 2014, during his presidency, and ran farm programs through 2018.
The Agricultural Act of 2014, the farm bill that continued Agriculture Department programs 'through fiscal year 2018', became Public Law 113-79, 'Approved February 7, 2014', during Barack Obama's presidency (Public Law 113-79, govinfo).
