Reagan had his big win. He won every state except for one, the great state of Wisconsin. I won Wisconsin. First time -- first time since Dwight Eisenhower in 1952.
Reagan won Wisconsin in 1984; the one state he lost was Minnesota (plus D.C.). Republicans also carried Wisconsin in 1956, 1960, 1968, 1972, 1980 and 1984 before Trump.
The official 1984 Electoral College results list Wisconsin's 11 electoral votes for Ronald Reagan, and Minnesota's 10 votes and the District of Columbia's 3 for Walter F. Mondale (National Archives, Electoral College results, 1984).
