Alabama: no impact
Trump said Alabama would likely be hit much harder than expected by Dorian. Forecasters said Alabama would see no impacts, and the storm never reached it.
About 20 minutes later the National Weather Service in Birmingham posted that Alabama would not see any impacts, because the storm would stay too far east. Dorian tracked up the Atlantic coast and never reached Alabama.
