Did Clay Higgins vote the way they spoke on government spending on 7 Mar 2024?
Clay Higgins, U.S. Representative (R-LA-03) ·
As publicly stated, I opposed the bill because of the level of overall spending and the removal of many Conservative policy riders through negotiations with the Senate. However, a tremendous amount of effort went into securing this community funding … My office worked very closely with our local government entities and district stakeholders for the better part of 2023 to secure this funding in the legislation.
