What did Donald Trump claim about elections on 6 Jan 2021? "In one Michigan county alone, 6,000 votes were switched…"
Donald Trump, President of the United States ·
In one Michigan county alone, 6,000 votes were switched from Trump to Biden, and the same systems are used in the majority of states in our country.
No votes were switched. A full hand count of Antrim County's ballots largely matched the machine count, with a net change of just 12 votes toward Trump.
A full hand count of Antrim County's presidential ballots on Dec. 17, 2020 gave Trump 9,759 votes and Biden 5,959, a net change of 12 votes toward Trump that largely matched the Nov. 3 machine count. The state said the error in the county's early unofficial results was not related to the tabulation equipment (Michigan Secretary of State, Dec. 18, 2020).
