Donald Trump, President of the United States ·
You know, I didn't know that he gave a pardon to his family, because he did it during my speech.
Not during his speech. Biden's family pardons were on the White House website by 11:43 a.m. Eastern on January 20, 2025, before Trump's term began at noon and before his inaugural address.
President Biden's statement pardoning his family members was on the White House website by 16:43 UTC (11:43 a.m. Eastern) on January 20, 2025, as an Internet Archive capture taken then shows. That was before noon, when Biden's term ended and Trump's began under the 20th Amendment, and before Trump took the oath and gave his inaugural address (White House statement, January 20, 2025).
