What did Donald Trump claim about law on 26 Feb 2025?
Donald Trump, President of the United States ·
This was 2 days before the election, right before—the Sunday night before the election.
It was not two days before the election. CBS's posting of the interview, updated October 7, 2024, said the election was 29 days away, and Trump's own lawsuit quotes it.
Trump's own lawsuit against CBS, filed on October 31, 2024, before the election, quotes CBS's web posting of the 60 Minutes Harris interview, 'last updated on October 7, 2024', which said 'With the election just 29 days away', and names the election date as November 5, 2024 (Trump v. CBS Broadcasting Inc., N.D. Tex. No. 2:24-cv-00236, Doc. 1).
