The Democrats and President Obama gave Iran 150 Billion Dollars and got nothing
The United States did not give Iran $150 billion. Sanctions relief under the nuclear deal gave Iran access to its own central bank's foreign-exchange assets, which Treasury put at $100 to $125 billion in all, of which a little more than $50 billion would be usable.
Treasury testified that 'Estimates of total Central Bank of Iran (CBI) foreign exchange assets worldwide are in the range of $100 to $125 billion' and that 'Iran's usable liquid assets after sanctions relief will be much lower, at a little more than $50 billion' (Written testimony of Acting Under Secretary Adam J. Szubin to the Senate Banking Committee, U.S. Department of the Treasury, Aug. 5, 2015).
