Did Morgan Griffith vote the way they spoke on health care in August 2022?
Morgan Griffith, U.S. Representative (R-VA-09) ·
In Patrick County today to announce $600,000 we secured for mobile health units in the county through the appropriations process. This funding will help deliver better health outcomes in our communities.
Voted Nay, 9 Mar 2022
Griffith voted against the part of the FY2022 spending bill that held his Patrick County mobile health request. Months later he took credit for securing the $600,000 for it.
Griffith voted for the first House vote on the FY2022 omnibus and against the second (roll call 66), which covered the remaining divisions. In August 2022 he announced $600,000 "we secured" for Patrick County mobile health units. He had requested that project, with Sen. Mark Warner, in the Labor-HHS-Education division covered by the vote he opposed.
