Did Julia Letlow vote the way they spoke on government spending in March 2022?
Julia Letlow, U.S. Representative (R-LA-05) ·
So excited to see @LSUAlexandria’s SPERO program open for applications! Our team was incredibly proud to secure federal funding for this amazing program and guide it through the appropriations process in Congress.
Voted Nay, 9 Mar 2022
Letlow voted against the part of the FY2022 spending bill that held her $120,000 request for LSU Alexandria's SPERO program. Two weeks later she said her team was proud to secure it.
Letlow voted for the first House vote on the FY2022 omnibus and against the second (roll call 66), which covered the remaining divisions. Two weeks later she said her team was proud to secure federal funding for LSU Alexandria's SPERO program and guide it through the appropriations process. She had requested the $120,000 for that program in the Labor-HHS-Education division covered by the vote she opposed.
