I've never met this person in my life.
He had met her. A federal jury found Trump sexually abused Carroll in 1996, and an appeals court ruled that his 2019 statements were false.
A federal jury found that Trump sexually abused Carroll at Bergdorf Goodman in 1996, and the Second Circuit affirmed (Carroll v. Trump, No. 23-793, Dec. 30, 2024). In the later case over this statement, the Second Circuit, quoting the line "I've never met this person in my life," held that "the district court did not err in ruling that Trump's 2019 statements were false" (Carroll v. Trump, No. 24-644, 2d Cir., Sept. 8, 2025).
